Mark Silvestro, present Assistant Commissioner Operations, has been elected by the Region 1441 Board to be the new Regional Commissioner.  Mark will replace outgoing Regional Commissioner Lauren Rauch at the completion of Lauren's three year term.  Mark has had extensive experience in our Region as a board member, a coach, and a referee. Over the years, Mark has shown himself to be the embodiment of the AYSO guiding principles.  The board would like to congratulate Mark on his new position, offer him our continued support for the tasks ahead, and thank him for his committment to our children.

Castaic U16 Boys and Girls Team win AREA 10S Tournament and Advance to the Section 10 Tournament in Bakersfield

The Castaic U16 Boys and Girls teams won their respective AREA 10S tournaments at Placerita Junior High.  This is the first year that Region 1441 has had a U16 program and for both of our teams to come out on top of the Santa Clarita Valley is a tremendous achievement.

 Castaic U16 Girls Team take Second in 
Southern California Section 10 Tournament

 The Castaic Girls U16 team finished 2nd in Southern California at the Section Final Tournament in Bakersfield.  The Girls won three games on Saturday and won the Semi-Final Match on Sunday before losing a hard fought battle in the Championship Match to fellow Area 10S team Saugus.  Congratulations to all of our girls for their hard work and achievement!
